Tame Impala’s landmark album Lonerism turned 10 last year, and the band played it front-to-back at Desert Daze to mark the anniversary.
Now, Tame Impala have announced a new Lonerism anniversary box set.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Lonerism, Tame Impala present fans with a deluxe 3 LP reissue of the album that features previously unreleased demos from the era.
Lonerism was Tame Impala’s breakout record. It received critical acclaim from the likes of Pitchfork and NME and is regarded as one of the best albums of 2012.
This expanded deluxe edition of the album features the original album track list, 2 previously unreleased demos, a full side of album demos, and a deluxe 24-page booklet.

Tame Impala have a habit of expanding their albums into box sets. The group’s debut, Innerspeaker, got a 10th-anniversary box set in 2020. That came after Currents was expanded into a collectors edition in 2017.
And, most recently, the deluxe box set of The Slow Rush was released last year.
